Message to the person who posted this photos..... THANK YOU VERY MUCH for posting all this photos. It gave me a glimpse and a better idea on what Bago City look like. I posted my request in search of families whom I have never meet (except one) who are living in this area. I am now posting with news to say that we have found some of them via Facebook... last Christmas, they were also searching for us. My Mom and I are now in constant communication with them beginning of this year. Thanks again !!

Hello to everyone !! Finding this Forum is as close to a miracle. I was born in Bago City 1954, my mother's name is Mary De la Cruz. We left Bago when I was about 6 or 7 years old to move to Pulupandan and left Pulupandan I believe it was 1965. Eventualy... we moved here in the USA in early 70's. We've never gone back for a visit since we left Visayan due to some very sad circumstances but I do have some memories of the area. I miss what little I can remember of a beautiful river, the woods, waterfalls , sugar canes, the beach in Pulupandan and so on. My Mom is now in her 80's and miss Visayan so very much...! We have lost contact with families over many years. I am hopeful that someone who will read this comment may know someone who are related to us. My Mom is not in her best of health anymore and it'll be wonderful if she could talk to a family member and possibly answer some of her questions. She had 3 brothers who lived in Bago, I am not sure exactly the right spellings of their names but one is Pedro, Isco, Bestre and they also have another 2 brothers name Tansyong and Lazaro. Their last name is another thing I am not sure of the correct spelling but I think it is Inso. One of those brothers have a son name Manuel. We did hear they already passed away..... however.. Manuel may still be alive but we don't know where he is. We also would love to hear from their extended family members. My Mom would know who's kids they are if they can answer certain questions she will ask. Mom also have a sister name Dominga De la Cruz and I believe another family member name Nenita Alvares. Mom keeps in her heart the love for all of them and miss them so very much. She also know of Herman Teodocio ...he's my father.. he is a musician from Bago City. Someone who had lived there at least the early 60's to late 60's and still living there in Bago would know them. I would be so grateful if someone can help provide some info that would help unite this families. I will check this site again with high hopes of re-uniting our families. I am so hoping that one day I could see Visayan again and possibly bring my husband and children there or their children also. They are very curious of the island I've spoke of something magical. Thank you to those who took the time to read my request.
